The information provided is often limited and as a result it is hard to draw a conclusion on the evolution of religious opinions and religious beliefs. However, the following important facts can be noted : the diminution of faith and detachment from religious institutions are not only due to the decline in the religious sentiment but also to the dilution and the individualisation of religious beliefs.
