Pentecost Monday

Pentecost Monday is no more a public holiday since 2005. A number of workers’ syndicates called for a demonstration against the abolition of this public holiday. According to the CSA survey for L’Humanité et La Nouvelle Vie Ouvrière (Humanity and the New Life for Industrial Workers) "the French and Pentecost Monday", 56% supported the movement or at least liked the action.
