Places of worship
In June 2011, a document was published by the Observatory of Religious Pluralism that listed places of worship in Spain; it recorded 5,002 places of worship for minority faiths (17.8% of total sites) and 23,074 Catholic parishes.
Among minority faiths, the most widely established were Evangelical churches (55.9% of buildings), places of worship for Muslims (19.7%) and Jehovah’s Witnesses (14.1%).
