Different reports

The Network of European Foundations (NEF), NGO which aims at developping projects between foundations and other types of organised philanthropy and other giving programmes, has published in 2010 a report by Beate Küpper and Andreas Zick, Religion and Prejudice in Europe : New Empirical Findings (attitude towards migrants, Judaism, Islam, homosexuality).

The Network of European Foundations (NEF) has also issued in 2009 a report by Stefano Allievi, Conflicts over Mosques in Europe : Policy issues and trends (104 p.).

Three surveys

Pew Research Center, which works to promote a deeper understanding of issues at the intersection of religion and public affairs, has launched a series of worldwide public opinion surveys : the Pew Global Attitudes Project. Two of them concern Muslims in Europe.

- The Great Divide : How Westerners and Muslims View Each Other, 2006.

After a year marked by riots over cartoon portrayals of Muhammad, a major terrorist attack in London, and continuing wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, most Muslims and Westerners see relations between them as generally bad.

- Muslims in Europe : Economic Worries Top Concerns About Religious and Cultural Identity, 2006.

Muslims living in Europe worry about their future, and many say they have had a bad experience as a result of their religion or ethnicity. However, Muslims living there do not generally believe most Europeans are hostile towards people of their faith.

- A study of the Institute for Jewish Policy Research : Graham, D., European Jewish identity : Mosaic or monolith ? An empirical assessment of eight European countries, Institute for Jewish Policy Research, April 2018.
