 Centro Studi sulle Nuove Religioni (CESNUR) is a centre for the study of religions. It has published a comprehensive encyclopaedia (Enciclopedia delle religioni in Italia , Elledici 2013) on the religions and denominations in Italy under the direction of Massimo Introvigne and Pierluigi Zocatelli. The online version of this document is also available (see in particular Pierluigi Zocatelli : Religions in Italy 2013).

 Caritas Italiana is an organisation of the Italian Catholic Church, created in 1971 with the aim of providing pastoral care. One of its periodicals includes an annual report on immigration, the Dossier Statistico Immigrazione, which is also available on the internet. Data from the Dossier is very useful for providing information and in making estimations on the religious identity of foreigners in Italy.
