Financial contribution
A high level of participation
In the Church of Sweden and some other faith communities the membership fees are levied through the state tax system (for more information see section “Support to collect membership fees via the tax system”). In these churches the financial participation of members is on a high level. There are no available figures concerning the total amount of membership fees or donations to the faith communities. Information concerning the finances of the Church of Sweden can be found in the annual report.
