Religious Affiliation

The Barometer survey by CIS (Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas) in February 2019 provides a condensed picture of religious affiliation in Spain.
67.5% of respondents declared themselves to be Catholic (71.7% in 2011) and 2.9% to belong to another religion (2.4% in 2011), with atheists and non-believers representing 26.8% of the sample (24.3% in 2011).
